Recruitment

We at Kappa Kappa Gamma pride ourselves on the strength of our sisterhood among generations of members across both the United States and Canada. However different our individual Kappa experiences may be, each of us shares something special- our knowledge and appreciation of all things Kappa. The most important thing I've learned is that Kappa will be your best friend, your safety net, and quite simply, your home. The bonds of Kappa Kappa Gamma will extend well beyond your undergraduate years at UNC!

Panhellenic Recruitment is the first step towards becoming an active part in this legacy of excellence and friendship. We value the recruitment of new sisters as a way to enhance our chapter through the addition of members who will each contribute her own unique experience and strengths. We are so excited to meet you this fall and to invite you to participate in the 2011 formal recruitment process!

Kappa Kappa Gamma requires a potential member to have attaned at least a "B" average from high school or a "C+" for the previously completed term as a full-time university student. For more information on Panhellenic Recruitment, please visit UNC-Chapel Hill's Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life

  • The Panhellenic Recruitment experience you are about to embark on will change your life forever. Recruitment is one of our favorite times at Kappa, and we can't wait to welcome you into your home. You may be nervous as you travel from house to house, but please don't be intimidated! We simply can't wait to meet you!

Leading this talented chapter of women and working with our dedicated alumnae have been some of my most fulfilling experiences at UNC. Through academics, sisterhood and leadership, Kappa challengest you to be your best at all times. We have a tradition of leadership nationally and at UNC. With over 130 chapters and a rich history dating back to 1870, we know that Kappa has a productive future ahead as we seek out new members to help us continue onward and upward.
