Kappa Kappa Gamma encourages both leadership and teamwork, offering many opportunities for sisters to take on roles of responsibility within the fraternity and the chapter.
Within Epsilon Gamma, a Chapter Council, consisting of 19 members, is elected annually. These chapter officers work together through communication, leadership, organization, education, motivation and implementation to plan and execute the many chapter events and programs. The Council has an annual retreat to start off the new term, set goals and further relationships, and then meets weekly to address chapter business. The 2010 retreat was held at Fearrington Village in Pittsboro, North Carolina.
